Kyle, Bent Yoga's founder, Yoga Instructor / Teacher Sydney ...
Yoga & the study of the Yoga Sutra's allowed me to see the world in a different way. The positive effects Yoga has had on my life are amazing, it never stops. Over time every part of my life improved. So with this new found self, I decided I wanted to be able to share this with the rest of the world, maybe make a difference in other peoples lives as yoga did mine, to be a yoga istructor/teacher,more so, a private yoga instructor/teacher, giving my students individual attention they deserve. After spending some time trying different approaches (all with great benefit's) I found the Yoga tradition of T Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar, a tradition which focuses more on private yoga classes or smaller group classes, this is where my love for Yoga really developed. I soon established a close association & mentoring guidance of Michael De Manincor, student of TVK Desikachar & President of the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia, I completed the two year teacher training course of over 550 hours in March 2007. . I am now accredited with the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia & the Krishnamacharya Healing Foundation of India. With a love of New York City and a need to further my knowledge, the year 2008 I decided to move to Manhattan, NYC, where I continued as a private yoga teacher/instructor in Manhattan, I also spent quite some time attending various workshops with the likes of Leslie Kaminoff, author of Yoga Anatomy and founder of the breathing project Manhattan, New York city. My long term personal goal is to become one of the best yoga teacher/instructor in Sydney & or NYC. My goal for every student at every class is that I am able to enrich their day or life ... in a positive way. Through my private & group yoga lessons, I do this by developing a clear understanding of the student(s) particular needs and tailoring my yoga classes to suit their needs, while making it fun and interesting. It is my complete joy and pleasure to be able to teach yoga to people. I love seeing the positive effects yoga has on my students. I like my yoga classes to be an experience, rather then just exercises. The environment is open-minded & free from judgment and ego of any kind, om shanti, Peace! |
